First define your problem clearly. Then find the contradiction/s in the problem. You will have two contradiction parameters, one improving parameter and one worsening parameter.

Choose your improving parameter from the green list and worsening parameter from the red list. Then click on [show principles] button. That's it. The princples which solve that contradiction will be displayed at the bottom. Use and enjoy.
